Will Virginia Go Nuts?

The Daily Press is reporting:

There is a move by Suffolk Virginia to add, the Mr. Peanut icon to personalized plates. This from the Daily Press website:

"To celebrate the founding of England's first permanent North American settlement, Suffolk wants state officials to approve a new license plate for Virginia motorists. A plate that features not some scene of the colonists or American Indians, but with the monocle and top hat adorned Mr. Peanut."

Will Mr. Peanut sway the minds over at the Virginia DMV? Your guess is as good as ours.
