Flags over Lynchburg

I know I have been away for awhile, I have actually been quite busy improving my photography skills. You can view many of my photos here, they are all taken in the Central Virginia Area. I have been lucky enough to have my photos in Lynchburg Life Magazine and they were recently exhibited in the Musée de l'Elysée, Lausanne in Switzerland,(a museum for photography).

My Top Photos according to Fickle Flickr

Flickr has a formula that picks the most interesting photos, I have been lucky to have been featured on their main page about six times in the last month. That to me is a personal achievement considering that a half million photos are uploaded there each day and they are all in contention for that spot.

In a way it is like winning the Lottery, they keep their formula secret, and who knows what Merlin spells are used to pick that honor. In the last two days, I have been featured on their main page twice. There are actually twenty photos that make the main page. And, they are randomly selected each time someone clicks the page.

Flickr's formula also selects your most interesting in your photo stream, and if you click the picture box you will be taken to Flickr's selection of what they think are my best photos. By the way we do not always agree on which are best.
