Collecting Food

Bedford County Department of Social Services has begun collecting food items so that families in the community will enjoy abundant meals during the Thanksgiving holidays this year. Not sure where to drop off food items?  Mountain View United Methodist Church across from Forest Middle School on Rt. 221 has a real oar boat in the narthex as you enter the church and will accept donations until November 6. At that point the boat will be hitched to a truck and taken to Bedford County Social Services to distribute.
