Google Sun: "We Got a Revolution"

Google has wowed us with Google Earth. What's next on the horizon? Google Sun plans to heat up the internet. So what is Google Sun? It is a combination of Google and Sun java systems, that will provide a new and hopefully free way to compete with Microsoft's Office. You know that expensive program you would like to have in the store, but are shocked by the sticker price.

Shortly, there will be announcement of what Google and Sun are up to, but we can already feel the heat.

Hi Bob, great post!
Here is a free program from Sun Microsystems that does everything that Ms does and more. It's a large download, I think 82 megs, but if you have a high speed connection or a resume feature on your download program it's not so bad.

Thanks for the comment. The program you are speaking of is the one google is going to incorporate I believe. I think I might just wait a bit and see what all the new fuss is about. I expect there will be some nice interfaces developing that will even improve Sun's program. Sun and Microsoft have been on some rocky roads together.
