Iran: Threatens the United States

"The United States has the power to cause harm and pain," said Ali Asghar Soltanieh, a senior Iranian delegate to the IAEA. "But the United States is also susceptible to harm and pain. So if that is the path that the U.S. wishes to choose, let the ball roll."

This is the latest threat that Iran has made against the United States, as reported by Yahoo News.

Yesterday I reported on how Iran was smuggling horrific weapons across the border into Iraq. We may not know who our friends are, but our enemies are certainly transparent.

Iran is well on its way in developing a nuclear bomb, we have the ability to stop them and we should understand that negotiations are only a stalling tactic used to gain time for Iran to produce a bomb. Then, there threats would have more teeth.

According to Yahoo the U.S. responded with:

"I think that provocative statements and actions only further isolate Iran from the rest of the world," White House press secretary Scott McClellan said.

Iran may be isolated from the rest of the world but they already have missiles that can reach Europe.

Hi Bob. The Brits caused a ruckus about weapons from Iran a couple of months ago, but seem to have been quiet since? Surprised that IED could do that to a Abrahams tank though, what a mess.

Thanks for the comment Charlie. The tank shown may not have been damaged from an IED, but the weapons Iran has developed is particularly horrific.
