Suspect In Lynchburg Convenience Store Robberies Arrested

Update: Terry Ayers has been cleared of all charges, and does not appear guilty of any crimes at all.


WSET is reporting:

There has been an arrest of a suspect in a recent flurry of convenience store robberies. Terry Ray Ayers is suspected of robbing at least five convenience stores at knife point. This is a remarkable accomplishment for the Lynchburg Police Department. In our last post, we speculated that an arrest would come soon. We are sure the LPD concentrated on finding this suspect.

Soon we will be coming out with an article on how one community reduced convenience store robberies by 65 percent. We are thankful now that many in the convenience store business in Lynchburg can rest a little easier.
