Dr. Falwell Receiving Flak from His Vote Christian Stance

As reported in an earlier post :

Dr. Falwell has started a "Vote Christian" movement in a letter he sent out in a mass mailing. Reactions are coming from across the country and as far away as Israel. His effort to unite a Christian vote movement, is being met with opposition from Jews and other Christian Groups. And his efforts may result in divisions of the Republican party, who do not want to associate with his views.

The Washington Post reports:

Dr. Falwell said, "What I was saying was for conservative Christian voters to vote their values, which are pro-life and pro-family," Falwell said. "I had no intention of being anti-Jewish at all."

This was after Jewish organizations called for a retraction from Jerry Falwell.

But if you look at Jerry Falwell's website , you will see that the "Vote Christian" campaign is an active element in his political thrust. If this will unite or divide the Republican party is yet to be seen.

In a search of the internet of reactions to Dr. Falwell's "Vote Christian," meaning vote Republican inference, reactions both in favor and against his campaign are taking hold.
