Whats up with the Lynchburg Gas Prices When Compared to Roanoke?

We all understand gas prices are high, but why is Lynchburg gas running 10 cents higher than Roanoke? We are an equal distance from the distributor. Is there a reason I am missing for this difference?

Photo Manipulation Bob. Gas Price Manipulation by _____?

I also want to report an error I have made earlier when I stated the ethanol change over was government mandated.

This interesting article points out:

"The refiners themselves made the decision to eliminate MTBE this spring," he says. "There's nothing in the law requiring them to get out. They claim Congress didn't give them liability protection for cleanups, but they didn't have it before. ... If there's a hiccup in the system, it's on the refiners."
