Komodo Dragon Ebook Ready for Purchase

...And written by yours truly!

From 1999 to 2004 I pursued my life long dream of writing. Writing has always been a part of my life. And for those of you who have been visiting my blog, you can see how much I love to write:) During the time that I pursued writing as a career, I had children's stories published in several magazines, I had stories published in ezines and I was published in The Writer and a couple of other writing magazines. You can google my name: Melissa O. Markham and find online links to some of these endeavors.

I really wanted to break into the book market and spent the better part of a year researching and writing three nonfiction books. The first of these is The Life of the Komodo Dragon. It takes you from the birth of the Komodo Dragon through it's life cycle until it lays eggs. The manuscript has been reviewed by experts for accuracy.

So after proceeding through these steps, I attempted getting a traditional publisher to purchase the manuscript, but was unsuccessful. I have since revamped the book and added hyperlinks for definitions and interesting websites! This is meant to be an interactive book and is guaranteed to teach the reader a lot about the Komodo Dragon. Several photographers have graciously allowed me to use their photos to augment the text. I thank each of them sincerely.

The book is 32 pages long, published as a .pdf file so as not to overload email boxes. You will need Adobe to read it, but Adobe can be downloaded for free if you don't have it. There are pictures on every other page, the book is laid out in a picture book format, and there are links to difficult words (for definitions), links for the bibliography, and links for interesting websites. There are also links to the photographer's sites.

If you are interested in purchasing the book, go to my ebay store and click on Melissa's Ebooks(link on the left hand side). Currently, Komodo Dragon is the only ebook, but there will be two more in the near future.I will send it to you as a PDF file. Let me know if you have any questions.
