Iraq a Different Perspective

BBC is accepting pictures of Iraq through the eyes of those that are there. Surprisingly, you will not see the harsh realities of war. Sometimes we fail to realize that what we see on the news is just the tragic consequences of the insurgency.

We should understand that the insurgency is fomented by a small minority, although that is what makes the press. Bomb blasts and fighting does punctuate life in Iraq with bitter consequences, but the majority of the people just want to get on with life.

Look at these pictures and you can see a different Iraq than the news portrays.
