Lynchburg's Saturday's Technorati Top Ten

Welcome to Saturday's Lynchburg's Top Ten Technorati picks. As you know by now, or maybe you don't, we see things a little different down here.

Sometimes, we have to parse out in our own southern way, what people are craving to understand. Things are simple here in Lynchburg, but we do like to consider new finagled things. So here is our take. the Lynchburg's Technorati top ten:

1. Web 2.0: This must be the other internet Al Gore didn’t invent. George Bush did say there was internets. We only have one internet here, we get things later in Lynchburg. Some of us don’t have the first internet yet. By the time Web 2.0 gets to Lynchburg there will be a Web 3,000.

2. Karl Rove: We hear Karl Rove is the man behind that president,. Some say he pulls all the strings, perhaps that is how we got 2 internets. Karl wouldn’t do well in Lynchburg. Some say he would tell everyone who are operating the moonshine stills. We just don’t talk about some things here. Karl would have to keep his mouth shut.

3. Serenity: There is a lady in Lynchburg named Serene, her sister Serenity took off to Hollywood to become a star. Serene recently got a post card from Serenity, that said she thinks going to the stars is more important now.

4. Squidoo: A fish that we don't eat in Lynchburg. But we hear this is something to do with Web 2.0 Seems like there is a man playing with lenes he got tired of burning ants up, so now, he is offering everyone his lens. He wants to put one one our blog, he says it will magnify everything we do.

5. The trouble with Harry: The trouble with Harry was a great movie, now some Yankee lady is trying to change Harry to Harriet. Harry was a dead man, who kept causing trouble, we think Harriet is still alive, but she does seem to be causing trouble too.

6. Apple: We heard the apple doesn't far fall from the tree, in fact we over heard that. Apples now cost a bundle, unless you live very close to the tree. We went to the store to buy an apple, and found out someone made a contraption called an apple. We wonder if there are any bugs in it.

7. Paul Krugman: Now here is a man we need on the Lynchburg Virginia Blog. I just read an article by him called “The Wonders of Editing.” We have been wondering what editing is too. Currently we hired an editor, but he took one look at our posts and took a hike. We are sure he will be back, that’s one of the good things about Lynchburg you always come back.

8. David Brooks: He seems to stay on top ten list also, now we see he is writing about how we are going to die. He must have really liked the Henny Penny story when he was growing up. We do not worry about how we are going to die in Lynchburg, it takes too much fun out of trying to dodge bullets.

9. Tsunami: We are on top of a hill here in Lynchburg, we are not worried about real big waves yet. But you never can tell, when Noah built his boat, everyone thought that was a bad idea, Noah taught FEMA a lesson. He sent his brother NOAA, just to tell us how bad things could get.

10. Earthquake: We saw the movie, and now its happening for real. There are no jokes here just sadness.

How are you handling the herds of people coming to your site. Your humor is fantastic by the way.

You are invited to take a look at QTSaver, Web 2.0 microcontent engine that remixes text.
QTSaver extracts multiple large chunks of microcontent from a single source from popular search engine sites.
QTSaver represents search results in a more human way. Instead of the current web searching which can be very tedious - receiving vast number of results, going into websites, checking them out, locating the relevant information, storing it somewhere - QTSaver displays a single Search-Engine-Results-Page with the most relevant information.
Please go to http://qtsaver.dynalias.com/
