Free Online Children's Storytelling Programs

"The Little Toe Radio Show." This is a great resource if you have a broadband internet connection (if you don't, it will take too much time to download, I fear). You can go to this site to listen to talented storytellers reading quality books for younger kids (older kids might enjoy the "Big Toe" program, which you can reach via a link on the page below). Try setting your kids up with an activity to keep their hands busy (like art or Legos) while they listen, and maybe you can even have a little time to do chores or have a cup of tea! You can sign up for a free email newsletter that lets you know what programs are coming in the next week. The site also offers games for kids. Be sure to check out the CBeebies link for stories your children can enjoy right now!

I hope a lot of parents are reading Lynchburg Virginia today. You've posted a ton of great stuff!

Soon I will be lost in listening to those tales, sleep will be not far behind.
