Richmond Time Dispatch is Changing

Below is a message I received when trying to access a page from the Richmond Times Dispatch.

Now, if you didn't know, there seems to be always a problem linking to the pages of Media General news sources, which includes The Lynchburg News and Advance. They like to keep you guessing like a shell game, is the bean (story) still under this cup (link)? Then, you find out nope the bean has moved mysteriously.

Well now, expect more problems when you click links to their content. We only hope, that whatever they do will improve their online reporting, and the format that it is presented in. But in the meantime, good luck in finding their stories when cited by others, including this blog. See the message below:

We are in the process of launching a new publishing system, with vastly different web addresses for all pages. If you have any bookmarked or favorite pages saved, please take note and change your settings. The URLs for all main indexes have changed. You can access the new pages through the navigation on the left side of this page.

If you have any problems, please contact us: mailto:webmaster@timesdispatch.com?subject=RTD-NEWSITE_ISSUES.
Some content may be missing for the first few days during our transition to the new site, so please be patient as we move the content. You should find content available in some sections for a much longer period of time than in previous versions of the www.TimesDispatch.com website.
If you typed the URL yourself, please make sure that the spelling is correct.

If you clicked on a link to get here, there may be a problem with the link.
Try using your browser's "back" button or the "return to previous page" link below to choose a different link on that page, or use search to find what you are looking for.
We apologize for the inconvenience!
