Is This a Sign of More to Come? That will Grind Lynchburg to a Halt

Prices of gasoline continue to sky rocket. Soon, if this continues everything will be more expensive. People are continuing to drive regardless of the price. As credit card balances continue to rise, perhaps 30 days from now, people will begin to understand how these prices are affecting them. We are sure that people will be making steps to consolidate their trips. And ask before they put the key in the ignition: "Do I really need to take to this trip?"

Business will soon be hard hit in operating costs. Prices will go up for almost everything imaginable. But the price bubble could burst. And the price may drift down. Then things will be better for all of us.

We fully expect that these prices will continue through the summer. What September brings will tell us what to expect from the economy. The ramifications could be endless, if increasing gas prices are the trend.

Thanks for the comment MOM. I read the story you suggested. 250 miles a gallon would be quite an accomplishment.
