Big Island Emergency Crew celebrates 40 years

The Big Island Emergency Crew is celebrating 40 years of service to the Big Island area with a community celebration on Aug. 14. The crew will honor all lifetime and charter members during a special service at 3 p.m. at Big Island Baptist Church. After the service, the day will continue at the community pavilion located next to the church with live music, face painting and games for the children. Community organizations will have food available. Door prizes will be given out. The event is free. The hours will be from 3-8 p.m.
