Virginia Cases of Interest

In mid January, the Mathews grand jury will be completing its investigation of the Taylor Behl death investigation. The primary suspect is Ben Fawley, he is currently facing child porn charges and it is speculated that federal charges may also ensue.

January 19th, Carl Bransford Hutcherson III, the son of the Mayor Carl Hutcherson will also be facing charges in the scheduled preliminary hearing in Lynchburg General District Court. He is faced with the following charge:

Possess with Intent Marijuana - 1/2 oz. to 5 lbs.

He is represented by Randall Trost, and it appears that Michael Doucette will be prosecuting.

Later in the beginning of February, Mayor Carl Hutcherson will again be facing his day court.
