The Worx in Forest at Benjamin's
August 27th 8-midnight
The second annual Festival in the Forest will be held August 27, 2005 at Benjamins on Route 221 in Forest. This is a benefit concert to raise money for Forest Volunteer Fire Department. The Worx, who have a huge following in Lynchburg and the surrounding counties, will be performing from 8 p.m. til Midnight. Tickets are $10.00 in advance and $15.00 at the door. As an aside. Benjamin's is a good place to eat and the service is great!

Hi mom, I think that I must lead a sheltered life. I never heard of the Worx. Then I looked at their website. They have had near 100,000 vistors. They must be good. http://www.theworxband.com/#
Cattle Annie's introduced them to Lynchburg several years ago. I remember seeing them there the first time it was maybe 500 or 600 people. Six months later the place was packed (1000+). They are still one of Cattle Annies most popular bands. One of the few bands I've seen that can cover just about anything pop - from hard rock to dance to country - "The Worx"
