What is the Agenda of The Islamic Political Party of America?

WSET reported: The reaction of a local Muslim on his take of the bombings in London. I presented a comment to WSET that I am going to reprint here:

On their website, this is the first statement you see: "The Islamic Political Party of America (IPPA) acknowledges Allah as the Sovereign Creator of the universe, who has entrusted to humanity the right and responsibility to rule over the affairs of the world. IPPA acknowledges that Muhammad Ibn Abdullah is the Last Messenger of Allah (pbuh) and we find in him the best of conduct for the affairs of mankind." Lets not be misled about their agenda.

Personally, I am in favor of the free expression of religion in our country. I have no axe to grind against any religion. Its when they step over the line, and use their religion to promote their own political agenda is what I have a problem with.

I invite you to look at The Islamic Political Party of America website, and read it carefully, click on their news, and you can make your own judgment.

You're right, people shouldn't use religion to promote their political agenda or vice versa. We have separation of church and state for a reason. However, this is a small, insignificant party. The real problem is Fundamentalist Christians like Jerry Falwell and their cronies in The Republican Party using their churches to promote a political agenda and using their political offices to promote a religious agenda.
on another note,I worked with several members of this Islamic Party in the past and, though I don't agree with their religious or political views,I found them to be kind and sincere people.

Thank you for your comment. My opinion on separation religion and the state has been consistent. I refer you to a previous article: Rev. Falwell: Makes Assertions at the Southern Baptist Convention which was written June 21st and can be found in the June archives. As far as I know, his statements were not reported locally.

I won’t dispute that these Muslim people are sincere and kind, but they must be judged in light of their agenda.

does separation of church and state exist in the USA? In which god do you trust? Which god blesses america?
I live in France where there is separation of church and state on a fanatical level!
On another note, muslims don't have an agenda.Jews don't have an agenda. Christians don't either. Certain lobbies have agendas.

Thank you for your comment. The Islamic aim for the United States is to gain political power and by so doing to be able to change laws in favor of their faith. Let us remember that in a democracy every voice must be heard, even the voice of the minority. And the citizens are responsible for being informed and alert to the political actions around them.

[Allah] it is Who hath sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, that He may make it conqueror of all religions-- Koran 61:9

Allah cast panic into the hearts of the disbelievers. He killed some, and enslaved others.
And He brought those of the People of the Scripture who supported them down from their strongholds, and cast panic into their hearts. Some ye slew, and ye made captive some.
And He caused you to inherit their land and their houses and their wealth, and land ye have not trodden. Allah is ever Able to do all things-- Koran 33:25-27

Those who disbelieve Our revelations, We shall expose them to the Fire. As often as their skins are consumed We shall exchange them for fresh skins that they may taste the torment. Lo! Allah is ever Mighty, Wise. -- Koran 4:56

To Anonymous: If you have a heart attack every time someone writes something that you do not agree with, you're going spending a lot of time at the cardiologist.
