Bedford Wine Trail Plans Poker Run

The Bedford Wine Trail is planning a Poker Run on Saturday, August 6th with a portion of the proceeds going to support The National D-Day Memorial.

The event starts and concludes at the Bedford Welcome Center where people register, then visit each of Bedford's five wineries where they have the opportunity to taste wine from that winery and pull a card from a deck of playing cards and their selections is recorded. At the conclusion of the Poker Run, the person with the best hand wins the Grand Prize of a Gift Basket worth $500 and the person with the worst hand also gets a prize.

A party for participants starts at Bedford Welcome Center at 5 p.m. with live music and refreshments and the prizes will be presented at this time. Admission is $15 per hand and $5 for non-players. Registration is at the Bedford Welcome Center located at 816 Burks Hill Road in Bedford between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on August 6th.
