Space Junk Cleanup Needed

This makes future launches at risk (not to mention, makes the area around our planet very unattractive to potential visitors...what would the Vulcans think?)

While there is currently a special organization called the Inter-Agency Space Debris Coordination Committee, made up of space agencies from ten countries and the European Space Agency, they have so far focused on limiting future space junk. The concern is how do we clean what is already up there...not like we have a giant vacuum cleaner!

Remebre the late 70's -early 80's TV shoe Salvage One? It starred Andy Griffith and was about a junk dealer who built a reusable rocket to got up and retrieve junk just like this stuff. Seems there was alot of money in the recyling of it.

Heh heh OFFER: 1972 era communicatins satellite. Great for hobbyists

Think that would fly on FreeCycle?
