So…just where will Tropical Storm Tammy go?

Tammy is by no means a powerhouse, but the storm does contain a huge amount of tropical moisture. This is already contributed to some very heavy rainfall, and a large portion of the Southeast will be thoroughly soaked Wednesday night and Thursday. A cold front approaching from the west will tap into this moisture rich air and bring it northward later this week. That means rain over much of the mid-Atlantic region Friday, and the wet conditions eventually reach New England. How much of Tammy's moisture will be drawn all the way up the coast remains uncertain at this time, but the potential exists for quite a bit of rain from Washington, D.C., to Boston.

I hope that the rain, eases some of the fire risks that we are now in, hopefully that rain will head our way.

We are so looking forward to a good rain. Might have to run around outside in it!
