Amateur Radio Class Set to Begin

The Lynchburg Amateur Radio Club has scheduled a six session class to be taught at the Fort Avenue Church of Christ, 1132 Sandusky Drive, Lynchburg to provide the necessary instruction to help those interested pass the entry level Technician Class license examination. Knowledge of Morse Code is not required. People who pass the test will gain all privileges above 30 MHz.

The first class will take place on Tues, Sept. 13 a the church beginning at 7:30 pm and conclude by 9:30 pm. Registration will take place prior to the beginning of the course. The remaining classes will be held on subsequent Tuesdays and Saturdays. The Saturday classes will run from 9:30am to 3:30 pm. Cost for the course is $20.

The cost for the test at the end of the course is $14. It will be given at the Bedford Central Library on Bridge Street in Bedford.
