Smith Mountain Lake Catch is It a Piranha?
You have seen the movies, when someone jumps in the river and the piranhas make a quick dinner of the victim. A lady fishing at Smith Mountain Lake had an unexpected catch. A fish with almost human like teeth. Everyone who saw the fish said, "yep thats one of those piranhas."
They put the fish on ice, called the game warden. Well, he just didn't know. They sent for a biologist from Franklin county. He looked the fish over carefully. Noting the teeth, had a piranha slipped some how into Smith Mountain Lake?
Well no, but a close tropical relative called a pacu did. To read the whole story go to the Roanoke Times.

Oh wow thats a scary looking fishy those teeth look nice and sharp.
That fish is messed up!
Pacu are found in an island near Australia and they have become meat eaters due to not alot of vegetation around to feed them. They've resorted to eating meat and attacking humans.
