A Nite at the Races

A Nite at the Races, the Rotary Club of Smith Mountain Lake's 4th annual fall fundraiser will be held Saturday, Oct. 15, from 5:30-10:30 p.m. at the W.H. Skelton 4-H Conference Center in Wirtz. This will be an evening of video horse racing, dinner, refreshments, door prize, race winner prizes, and even a women's hat parade contest. Tickets are $35 per person which entitles the purchaser to admittance, dinner, $16 in funny money with which to bet on any of the eight video cast races, and opportunities to win door prizes. There will be a cash bar including Triple Crown Cocktails. Attendees are encouraged to bring appetizers for their table.
