Coffeehouse
Coffee house featuring The Purveyors will be held at the Sedalia Center at 8:30 p.m. Food and beverages will be available. Admission is $5.
Veterans' Day Commemoration
The National D-Day Memorial will hold a ceremony to honor veterans and to pay tribute to the servicemen and servicewomen currently in the armed forces. The program is expected to run about 30 minutes. The featured speaker will be Lynchburg businessman Bernard "Bunny" Marks. Admission to the Memorial will be at no charge from 10 a.m. to noon. After that, regular fees will apply.
Little Town Players Production
Little Town Players will present the heartwarming drama "To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday" November 11-12, 18-19 at p.m. and Nov 20 at 2 p.m. at the Elks National Home Theater. The American Cancer Society's 2005 Cancer Ball

The American Cancer Societys annual Cancer Ball is a black tie affair held to raise money for the fight against cancer. In addition to cocktails, dinner, and dancing, there will be a silent auction and raffle, with proceeds going to fund research, patient service, education, detection, and prevention programs right here in Lynchburg. Forest Ruritan Fall Fest
The Forest Ruritan Club will hold a Fall Fest on Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free. Door prizes given every 15 minutes; food for sale. For those interested in setting a booth, the cost is $10.
Bedford Public Library Concert
Contemporary original, traditional, and Celtic music will be presented by the Friends of the Bedford Public Library, Inc. on Saturday, November 12the at 7:30 p.m. as they host Al Petteway and Amy White in concert. The concert held in the Bedford Room of Bedford Central Library is open to the public with a suggested donation of $5 per person. Seating is limited to 100 people. Genealogical Society
The Bedford Genealogical Society will meet at 1:30 p.m. in the community room of the Bedford City/County Museum at 201 East Main Street in Centertown Bedford. Broadway Lights
Broadway Lights will be held Nov 12-13 featuring the Smith Mountain Lake Barbershop Chorus and guest quartet, Road Show, at Staunton River High School.
