Lynchburg Police: Removed Wanted Round up from Their Website

On Thursday, WSET reported that the LPD would be publishing a wanted list, in order to have the public help locate people with outstanding warrants. Thursday the LPD wanted list was up, by Monday it was taken off their website.

We had intended to bring to you frequently updated photos on our main page, one wanted person at a time, from the beginning of their data base to the end. The picture you know see on the LPD wanted picture is one of their most wanted subjects, from their crime stoppers site. We will continue to bring you those pictures and others til their data base is placed back on their website.

We are not sure if the LPD data base was taken down for technical, legal, or administrative reasons, but we will inform you as soon as we know.

Thanks Ken, They most likely had just some technical problems.

Hi Ken I was poking around the Lynchburg police website and did not find it up, If you could leave the address here. The most wanted is up, but I am failing to find the larger data base of outstanding warrents. The link was on their main page above the picture of the police station. If they moved it elsewhere let me know. Thanks Bob
