Apco Hoping to Increase Your Electric Bill by 9.2 Percent Starting Aug. 1st

The Roanoke Times is reporting APCO has sent a two volume application to the Virginia State Corporation Commission in which they are justifying a 9.2 percent across the board increase.

This will affect all customers both business and private. And is an example of the continuing increases we as consumers are facing on a daily basis. It reminds me of helping a friend load a pickup truck. He would add more and watch the springs. Yep he would think it will take more. And he would pile more on. One day he just over did it, and now, no longer has a truck.

With the continuing increases that both businesses and consumers are facing, how long will it be until we drive our economy to a halt?

You got to be looking at that truck are the springs going to handle the load.
