Dung Recycling

I am a great beleiver in recycling. In fact, I couple of years ago, I began a group in Lynchburg that was part of the Freecycle Network. And recycling has been going on for years.

As a fan of Native American History, I was always intrigued about how they used every part of the bison they killed and how people even used the dung to burn on their fires.

Well, scientists in Japan have taken dung burning a step farther and have figured out how to glean gasoline from it! They hope to have a commercial process set up for use in five years. This is the epitomy of recycling...use something that farmers are now paying to dispose of and turn it into fuel that the whole world can use.
