4,000 Katrinia Survivors Expected to Come to Virginia
A Virginia State plan to aid survivors of the Katrinia hurricane is under way.
WRIC in Richmond is reporting:
1,000 evacuees have already arrived in Viriginia and as many as 4,000 are expected. Fort Pickett, 4 H camps, and the Virginia United Methodist Assembly Center are all gearing up to accept people left homeless from the aftermath of Katrina.
