Channel 7 has some Harry Potter opening night pictures. I think they were the only local station to do a story.Channel 13 has a short article.I couldn't find anything from Channel 10 or on the Roanoke Times or News and Advance. If anybody has a link to something they did to cover it, let us know!

Tonight's the big night -- at midnight is the premiere of the last Harry Potter movie.We're all going. After all, it's been almost 2 decades (!) lots of books, interviews, gossip, and movies. Might as well finish up the series by staying up late.And isn't it fun to see a midnight showing? As a kid, you get to stay up into the wee hours, meet up with other kids, and see all your favorite stars.

I was reading online today that Lynchburg hasn't been hit as hard as some areas in the Great Recession. There are some parts of Detroit that look almost like a war zone.Although unemployment and under-employment is at almost record levels for the past few decades, more rural areas, especially more rural areas with a diverse background, are faring much better than other places.I think that's good

Flickr has a formula that picks the most interesting photos, I have been lucky to have been featured on their main page about six times in the last month.
